To A New Day: Hennessy Condo Reveal
So I spent this winter helping a wonderful client renovate her 1980's North Bethesda Condo. She was tired of living in a home that didn't make her feel happy or represent her personal style. She was ready to take her home from basic to beautiful. So tonight, I am excited to reveal her renovation. Because of the large scope of the project, I am going to break this up into 2 blogs. Its just TOO MANY pictures. Enjoy
I've known Jessica Hennessy for many years now. Although an amazing teacher here in Montgomery County, she really has a passion for creativity. She makes the super cute decal stickers I use in many of my nurseries. We were introduced by her sister & fellow #momboss Danielle Benson, a fabulous children's photographer here in Bethesda.
Project Overview:
Goals: Renovate Condominium with a Slight Farmhouse/ Industrial Style, with a little bit of Glam, to create a warm, welcoming, calming environment
Spaces: Living Room, Kitchen, Foyer, Dining Room, Bedroom, Bathroom & Office
Key Elements: Floors, Cabinets, Lighting, Tile, Counters, & Fixtures
As a designer there are so many ways to work together. Jessica wanted to be very hands-on, doing much of the legwork & heavy lifting. She looked to me for overall concept, direction, selection & project management. We worked collaboratively through Pinterest for inspiration & shopping. She was price conscious, so we worked within her budget. Most of our items were purchased online at Wayfair & Amazon. Then lots of fun trips to Target & Home Goods for great finds.
